WESTLAKE AMERICAN LEGION CHAPTER RECEIVES $500 DONATION FROM VYVE BROADBAND
Vyve Broadband Shows Support for American Legion Post in Westlake in celebration of Nation’s Veterans
In honor of Memorial Day and in recognition of the many freedoms that U.S. veterans fought to protect, Vyve Broadband — which provides Internet, cable television and phone for commercial and residential customers in largely non-urban communities in eight states — is showing its support with a $500 donation to the American Legion in Westlake, LA.
Vyve’s $500 donation to this American Legion post will go toward fostering community among veterans and will help support American Legion programs that reach out to and connect with local veterans. As an organization, the American Legion advocates for veterans’ rights and provides a place for them to join together in a spirit of mutual support and patriotism.
“In celebration of Memorial Day and the freedom, pride and liberty that we enjoy as Americans, we wanted to show our support and appreciation for the men and women who have sacrificed their safety to protect those freedoms” said Jeffrey DeMond, chief executive officer of Vyve Broadband. “This seemed like the perfect time to let local veterans and the American Legion know how much Vyve appreciates their service.”
