Savages’ Brayden James Named Friday Night Vyve Player of the Week

Vyve Broadband Salutes Tecumseh Quarterback For Outstanding Play

Tecumseh senior quarterback Brayden James was named Friday Night Vyve Player of the Week for his outstanding play in the Savages 48-22 win over McLoud Friday night.

James rushed for 237 yards and three touchdowns, and tossed a 14-yard TD pass to lead the Savages to a convincing win over the Redskins.

The Friday Night Vyve Player of the Week is presented to the player who most exemplifies competition, teamwork, leadership and sportsmanship for his high school team each Friday night.

For week three, that player is Tecumseh’s Brayden James.

Miners’ Blake Lindley Named Friday Night Vyve Player of the Week

Vyve Broadband Salutes Hartshorne Quarterback For Outstanding Play

Hartshorne senior quarterback Blake Lindley was named Friday Night Vyve Player of the Week for his outstanding play in the Miners 56- 35 win over Wewoka Friday night.

Lindley ran for 186 yards and five touchdowns on 20 carries as the Miners handily outlasted the Tigers.

The Friday Night Vyve Player of the Week is presented to the player who most exemplifies competition, teamwork, leadership and sportsmanship for his high school team each Friday night.

For week three, that player is Hartshorne’s Blake Lindley.

Bulldogs’ Dawson Metcalf Named Friday Night Vyve Player of the Week

Vyve Broadband Salutes Hooker Wide Receiver For Outstanding Play

Hooker senior wide receiver Dawson Metcalf was named Friday Night Vyve Player of the Week for his outstanding play in the Bulldogs 52-12 win over Clayton Friday night.

On the night, Metcalf had 124 yards and a touchdown on punt returns in the big win against the Yellowjackets.

The Friday Night Vyve Player of the Week is presented to the player who most exemplifies competition, teamwork, leadership and  sportsmanship for his high school team each Friday night.

For week three, that player is Hooker’s Dawson Metcalf.

Bruins’ Jaden Boyd Named Friday Night Vyve Player of the Week

Vyve Broadband Salutes Caddo Running Back/Cornerback For Outstanding Play

Caddo junior running back Jaden Boyd was named Friday Night Vyve Player of the Week for his outstanding play in the Bruins 42-28 win over Thackerville Friday night.

Boyd was a one-man wrecking crew accumulating 326 total yards, four touchdowns and a two-point conversion offensively. He also picked up nine tackles, three passes broken up and an interception defensively in the convincing win over the Wildcats. Boyd had 170 yards rushing on 18 carries, two catches for 33 yards and 123 yards on four kick returns on the evening.

For week three, that player is Caddo’s Jaden Boyd.

Vyve Broadband Salutes Dumas Running Back For Outstanding Play

Dumas senior running back Jarquis ‘Skip” Fisher was named Friday Night Vyve Player of the Week for his outstanding play in the Bobcats 20-16 loss to Bauxite Friday night.

On the night, Fisher had 202 yards and two touchdowns in the tough loss to the Miners. This is the second consecutive Friday Night Vyve Player of the Week honor for Fisher, who was also named against McGehee last week.

The Friday Night Vyve Player of the Week is presented to the player who most exemplifies competition, teamwork, leadership and sportsmanship for his high school team each Friday night.

For week three, that player is Dumas’ Jarquis Fisher.

Bears’ JaQuan Jackson Named Friday Night Vyve Player of the Week

Vyve Broadband Salutes De Kalb Running Back For Outstanding Play

De Kalb senior running back JaQuan Jackson was named Friday Night Vyve Player of the Week for his outstanding play in the Bears 49-14 win over Maud Friday night.

Jackson rushed for 277 yards and five touchdowns in just over two quarters as the Bears overwhelmed the Cardinals. This is the second Friday Night Vyve Player of the Week award for Jackson, who was also named for his play in week one.

The Friday Night Vyve Player of the Week is presented to the player who most exemplifies competition, teamwork, leadership and sportsmanship for his high school team each Friday night.

For week three, that player is De Kalb’s Jaquan Jackson.

Chargers’ Ridge Robertson Named Friday Night Vyve Player of the Week

Vyve Salutes Jefferson County North Running Back For Outstanding Play

Jefferson County North senior running back Ridge Robertson was named Friday Night Vyve Player of the Week for his outstanding play in the Chargers 58-20 win over Pleasant Ridge Friday night.

Robertson had two game changing plays, an 80-yard kickoff return for a touchdown and a 77-yard punt return touchdown to lead the Chargers to a big win over the Rams, which led to a 3-0 start to the season. This is the second Friday Night Vyve Player of the Week award for Robertson, who also shared the honor in week one.

The Friday Night Vyve Player of the Week is presented to the player who most exemplifies competition, teamwork, leadership and sportsmanship for his high school team each Friday night.

For week three, that player is Jefferson County North’s Ridge Robertson.
