Vyve Broadband Salutes Claiborne Running Back For Outstanding Play

Claiborne junior running back Bryce Laws was named Friday Night Vyve Player of the Week for his outstanding play in the Bulldogs 42-17 win over rival Union County Friday night.

Laws rushed for 127 yards and three touchdowns while playing stellar defense in the route of the Pirates. On the night, he averaged over 11 yards a carry.

The Friday Night Vyve Player of the Week is presented to the player who most exemplifies competition, teamwork, leadership and sportsmanship for his high school team each Friday night.

For week two, that player is Claiborne’s Bryce Laws.

Vyve Broadband Salutes Shawnee Duo For Outstanding Play

Shawnee wide receiver LJ McKissick and cornerback Austin Woods were named Friday Night Vyve Players of the Week for their outstanding play in the Wolves 7-6 win over Duncan Friday night.

McKissick scored the Wolves only touchdown with a handy 69-yard catch-and-run, while Woods helped secure the win with an interception and fumble recovery in the nail biter over the Demons.

The Friday Night Vyve Player of the Week is presented to the player who most exemplifies competition, teamwork, leadership and sportsmanship for his high school team each Friday night.

For week two, those players are Shawnee’s LJ McKissick and Austin Woods.

Wilburton senior quarterback Levi Knight was named Friday Night Vyve Player of the Week for his outstanding play in the Diggers 36-12 win over Quinton Friday night.

Knight ran for a pair of touchdowns and threw for two more as the Diggers easily handled the Savages. On the night, Knight had 134 yards rushing on just 14 carries.

Vyve Broadband Salutes Caddo Quarterback For Outstanding Play

Caddo junior quarterback Jack Holbrook was named Friday Night Vyve Player of the Week for his outstanding play in the Bruins 64-32 loss to Wetumka Friday night.

Holbrook did his part with 272 yards of total offense and five touchdowns in the loss to the Chieftains. On the night, he rushed for 86 yards and two touchdowns and was 14-23 for 186 yards and three touchdowns through the air.

Dumas senior running back Jarquis Fisher was named Friday Night Vyve Player of the Week for his outstanding play in the Bobcats 22-20 Ag Bowl win over McGehee Friday night.

On the night. Fisher had 179 yards, two touchdowns and a two-point conversion as the Bobcats edged the rival Owls.

For week two, that player is Dumas’ Jarquis Fisher.

Bowie senior running back Bailey Obenoskey was named Friday Night Vyve Player of the Week for his outstanding play in the Pirates 46-22 road win over Overton Friday night.

Obenoskey accounted for 26 points with four rushing touchdowns and a two-point conversion in the dismantling of the Mustangs. On the night, he totaled 198 yards on 20 carries.

Atchison senior running back Taye Helms was named Friday Night Vyve Player of the Week for his outstanding play in the Redmen’s 40-14 win over Sumner Academy Friday night.

Helms totaled 205 yards and three touchdowns on just 19 carries in the shellacking of the Sabres.
