Ware County senior Jeremiah O’Hara was named Friday Night Vyve Player of the Week for his outstanding play in the Gators’ 62-0 shutout win over Pine Ridge Friday night.

O’Hara earned 134 receiving yards on four catches including a 29-yard touchdown reception. He showed impact on special teams with one punt return of 62-yards for a touchdown. O’Hara’s only passing yardage came on a 52-yard touchdown pass to Senior Thomas Castellanos.

Cumberland Gap junior Holden McDaniel was named Friday Night Vyve Player of the Week for his outstanding play in the Panthers’ 15-13 win over Union County Friday night.

In a non-league match between the visiting Cumberland Gap Panthers and Union County Patriots, the Panthers won a nail biter with the help of the junior’s performance.
McDaniel scored the first points of the game for either team with an 85-yard return on the initial kickoff of the second half. The return by McDaniel came in his first ever high school football game.

Trojans Azi Johnson Named Friday Night Vyve Player of the Week
Vyve Broadband Salutes Coffee Safety For Outstanding Play
Coffee safety Azi Johnson was named Friday Night Vyve Player of the Week for his outstanding play in the Trojans’ 20-7 win over Brunswick Friday night.

Johnson led the Trojans to victory with 11 tackles, four tackle assists, two interceptions and one pass breakup. This was the opening game for both schools, getting the Trojans off to a 1-0 start.
With the help of Johnson’s performance, Coffee was able to keep Brunswick from avenging their loss last season, when the Trojans also won that matchup 30-13.
