VYVE CELEBRATES OPENING OF NEW SHAWNEE CALL CENTER AT OPEN HOUSE EVENT
Facility means more jobs for region, improved service for customers
Vyve Broadband brought jobs to the Shawnee region and improved customer service to its clients in one move by opening its brand new
Shawnee Call Center on Wednesday, Aug. 5.
Vyve executives, local business owners and local government leaders, including Shawnee Mayor Wes Mainord, attended an open house that evening to celebrate the occasion with a tailgate-style barbecue.
Located at 1819 Airport Drive in Shawnee, the center will provide round-the-clock technical and network problem resolution to Vyve Broadband customers by performing diagnosis while guiding end users through step-by-step solutions. Vyve employs more than 80 people in the Shawnee region and serves more than 20,000 of customers in the area.
“We’re so excited about the opportunities that this new call center will provide,” said Dave Harwood, general manager for Vyve Broadband in Oklahoma. “Not only is it a win for Shawnee in terms of job creation, but it also allows us to provide the best customer service to our customers in this region and beyond.”
