‘Vyve 200’ Affirms Company’s Commitment to Broadband Adoption in Rural Markets

Vyve Broadband’s mission is to provide rural communities with world-class broadband Internet service that levels the playing field. Today,
Vyve has taken the next step in that mission with the launch of 200 Megabit-per-second Internet service to customers in Choteau, Inola, Locust Grove and Salina markets.

The local Vyve team recently completed successful testing of 200 Meg service, and it is now available to local residents and businesses in Choteau, Inola, Locust Grove and Salina. The boost to 200 Meg service increases their fastest Internet speeds by nearly two times. Residents with multiple connected devices such as smartphones, tablets, computers, TVs and gaming systems will be able to run their devices concurrently without interruption.

“We are excited to add these markets to our growing list of 200 Meg markets,” said Jeffrey DeMond, chief executive officer for Vyve Broadband. “‘Vyve 200’ will be a key product for certain business and residential customers who have unique needs, such as people who work from home or those using graphics-heavy gaming and visual design software. Now they will have the bandwidth they need to be connected.”

“It’s clear that the online technology, information and entertainment landscape is evolving on an almost daily basis. What’s incredibly fast today will be the norm tomorrow,” DeMond says. “Vyve is building the network now that our customers will want and demand in the future.
We’re committed to long-term relationships with our customers, and part of that commitment is looking not only at their current needs, but what their needs will be several years down the road.”

This upgraded service represents another milestone in the ongoing drive by Vyve to provide cutting-edge broadband speeds in rural markets that have traditionally lagged behind in technology offerings. Vyve investments since the company launched in late 2013 have more than doubled the average speed for existing customers. Vyve is already offering ‘Vyve Gig’ (1,000 Megabits) in select markets and is currently testing in many more.

Customers who are interested in ‘Vyve 200’ service can call 1-855-FOR-VYVE.

Vyve Broadband Showing Support for VFW Post in Texas in celebration of Nation’s Veterans

In honor of Independence Day and in recognition of the many freedoms that U.S. veterans fought to protect, Vyve Broadband — which provides broadband, cable television and voice services for commercial and residential customers in largely non-urban communities in nine states — is showing its support with a $500 donation to Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) in Lake Texoma, TX.

Vyve’s $500 donation to this VFW post will go toward fostering community among veterans and will help support VFW programs that reach out to and connect with local veterans. As an organization, the VFW advocates for veterans’ rights and provides a place for them to join together in a spirit of mutual support and patriotism.

“After celebrating Independence Day and the freedom, pride and liberty that we enjoy as Americans, we wanted to show our support and appreciation for the men and women who have sacrificed their safety to protect those freedoms” said Jeffrey DeMond, chief executive officer of Vyve Broadband. “This seemed like the perfect time to let local veterans and the VFW know how much Vyve appreciates their service.”

As part of its company culture, Vyve Broadband strives to maintain close relationships with the communities it serves. Contributing to local causes, like the VFW, ensures that funds stay in the specific communities where assistance is often needed most. Vyve’s commitment also extends to delivering the best products and services to rural America. Having recently launched All-Digital, High-Definition (HD) TV service, Internet speeds of 25, 50 and 105 Mbps and unlimited nationwide phone service in the Pottsboro area. These upgrades provide customers with the fastest Internet speeds available in the area – enabling customers to experience better gaming, faster streaming content and superior social media experiences.

VYVE DELIVERS 200 MEGABIT-PER-SECOND BROADBAND SERVICE TO RURAL MARKETS IN RESPONSE TO CHANGING CONSUMER NEEDS

The company is closing the broadband adoption gap by leading rural market expansion with major market product and service solutions; more than 80% of VYVE Broadband Rural Markets are now upgraded, more planned.

Vyve Broadband announced today their plans to offer 200 Megabit-per-second Internet service that will connect rural households and provide unparalleled broadband access to customers, in nearly 20 markets across five states.

Jeffrey DeMond, CEO of Vyve Broadband, said, “At Vyve, we have a tremendous opportunity in rural communities across America to increase broadband adoption. Today, we are providing rural residents with the data-rich services that customers are increasingly demanding, and that can be found in urban markets. Our dedicated focus on service solutions, customer care and rural accessibility at competitive prices, is creating opportunity for markets that have long been unserved in today’s digital era.”

This speed enhancement further builds out Vyve’s pipeline of services and access to diverse market offerings including cutting-edge broadband speed capabilities. Since the company launched in early 2013, Vyve has invested over 100 million dollars to enhance overall service options and increase speed quality for existing customers.

Vyve is aggressively adapting and innovating to serve growing consumer needs as device counts per household climb and data-rich consumption grows. The launch of ‘Vyve Gig’ (1,000 Megabits) service and service broad rollout of 200 Megabit are examples of this innovation and are proving Vyve’s commitment to listening and responding to consumers ever-changing needs.

“This new 200 megabit-per-second product has shown significant internet speed increases in the Vyve markets who have already transitioned. Rural household residents with multiple connected devices such as smartphones, tablets, computers, TVs and gaming systems are now able to run their devices concurrently without interruption; creating an overall improved customer experience,” said DeMond.

“Vyve is providing industry leadership for our customers and responding to their needs,” said DeMond. “As online and digital technology continues to evolve, so will the investment in our networks and communities. We will always explore innovative solutions and broader accessibility for our customers regardless of where they live.”

36 Public School Teachers from Oklahoma, Texas and Arkansas Recognized for their Outstanding Contributions

Vyve Broadband is obsessed with great teaching. That’s why they founded the Vyve Teacher of the Month program, to show teachers how special they really are.

Through the first-ever Vyve Teacher of the Month program, residents across 12 markets in three states took to social media and the Vyve website to nominate and recognize local school teachers for their extraordinary commitment to students both inside and outside of the classroom.

“We believe it is essential to recognize the work of outstanding teachers in every community we operate, to share their experiences, and to support them in their growth,” says Diane Quennoz, Vyve SVP, Marketing and Customer Experience. “Many of them are unsung heroes that go unnoticed. Maybe they helped a student earn a better grade, maybe they gave a student encouragement to do better, or maybe they were just there when a student needed to talk. Whatever the reason, we appreciate what they do for our students.”

For this initial three month campaign, winners were named each month from March to May in the following Vyve markets: Dumas, Ark., McGehee, Ark., Durant, Okla., Guymon, Okla., McAlester, Okla., Hooks, TX, Shawnee, Okla., New Boston, TX, Maud, TX, De Kalb, TX, Perryton, TX, and Dalhart, TX.

More than 500 school teachers were nominated through this first-ever program, garnering hundreds of votes and social engagements, plus media mentions.

“We are thrilled with the overwhelming participation, through both voting and social interaction for the launch of the Vyve Teacher of the Month program,” said Quennoz. “Our goal is to recognize outstanding teachers in our rural markets, and we have engaged entire communities in doing that through this program. We are looking forward to the 2017 – 2018 school year and honoring even more deserving teachers.” The Vyve Teacher of the Month award is presented to teachers who have proven to be champions of the classroom and stewards of their community through their teaching, mentoring and leadership. Through the first-ever Vyve Teacher of the Month program, Perryton residents took to social media and the Vyve website to nominate and recognize three local public school teachers, Debbie Perez was recognized in March, Shelby Pond in April, and Raquel Vela in May, for their extraordinary commitment to students both inside and outside of the classroom.

This first-ever program, garnered hundreds of votes and social engagements, and headlines made the news during the initial three-month campaign. The Vyve Teacher of the Month is presented to teachers who have proven to be champions of the classroom and stewards of their community through their teaching, mentoring and leadership. Nominations and voting for Vyve Teacher of the Month was open to anyone in the community via Facebook and the Vyve website.

“We are thrilled with the overwhelming participation, through both voting and social interaction in Perryton for our launch of Vyve Teacher of the Month,” said Quennoz. “Our goal is to recognize Perryton’s outstanding teachers, and we have engaged the entire community in doing just that with these three worthy winners. We are looking forward to 2017 – 2018 school year and honoring even more deserving teachers.”
