Bulldogs’ Christian Dalpaos Named Friday Night Vyve Player of the Week

Vyve Broadband Salutes Savanna Linebacker For Outstanding Play

Savanna senior middle linebacker Christian Dalpaos was named Friday Night Vyve Player of the Week for his outstanding play in the Bulldogs’ 10-7 win over Antlers Friday night.

Dalpaos was a one-man wrecking crew accounting for 14.5 total tackles, 11 solo stops, two tackles for loss including a safety, and an interception against the Bearcats. For good measure he also threw for a 2-point conversion.

The Friday Night Vyve Player of the Week is presented to the player who most exemplifies competition, teamwork, leadership and sportsmanship for his high school team each Friday night.

For week one, that player is Savanna’s Christian Dalpaos.

Vyve Broadband Salutes Dumas Free Safety For Outstanding Play

Dumas senior free safety Braylon Chaffin was named Friday Night Vyve Player of the Week for his outstanding play in the Bobcats’ 56-12 loss to White Hall Friday night.

On the night, Chaffin led all Bobcat defenders with his double-digit 10 tackles in a losing effort to the Bulldogs.

The Friday Night Vyve Player of the Week is presented to the player who most exemplifies competition, teamwork, leadership and sportsmanship for his high school team each Friday night.

For week one, that player is Dumas’ Braylon Chaffin.

Vyve Broadband Salutes DeKalb Running Back For Outstanding Play

DeKalb senior running back Jaquan Jackson was named Friday Night Vyve Player of the Week for his outstanding play in the Bears’ 30-20 opening night win over Prairiland Friday night.

Jackson totaled 245 yards and two touchdowns rushing on 17 carries and added another 55 yards on three receptions in the season opening win against the Patriots.

The Friday Night Vyve Player of the Week is presented to the player who most exemplifies competition, teamwork, leadership and sportsmanship for his high school team each Friday night.

For week one, that player is DeKalb’s Jaquan Jackson.

Chargers’ Samuel Larson and Ridge Robertson Named Friday Night Vyve Players of the Week

Jefferson County North running backs Samuel Larson and Ridge Robertson were named Friday Night Vyve Player of the Week for their
outstanding play in the Chargers’ 50-7 win over Maur Hill-Mount Academy Friday night.

On the night, the duo combined for 345 yards and five touchdowns rushing on just 21 carries against the Ravens, an incredible 16.4-yard average per tote. Larson had 184 yards and three scores while Robertson chipped in 161 yards and a pair of TD’s.

For week one, those players are Jefferson County North’s Samuel Larson and Ridge Robertson.

Bulldogs’ Elijah Beason Named Friday Night Vyve Player of the Week

Vyve Broadband Salutes Claiborne Running Back For Outstanding Play

— Claiborne senior running back Elijah Beason was named Friday Night Vyve Player of the Week for his outstanding play in the Bulldogs’ 32-15 win over Middlesboro Friday night.

Beason did it all, accounting for almost 300 all-purpose yards and scoring all five Bulldog touchdowns in the win against the Yellowjackets. On the night, Beason had 173 yards and four touchdowns rushing, 73 yards and another score receiving and 48 yards on kick returns, all while playing a stellar on the defensive side of the ball.

For week one, that player is Claiborne’s Elijah Beason.

Wolves’ Scout Cawvey Named Friday Night Vyve Player of the Week

Vyve Broadband Salutes Shawnee Wide Receiver For Outstanding Play

Shawnee sophomore wide receiver Scout Cawvey was named Friday Night Vyve Player of the Week for his outstanding play in the Wolves’ 27-13 season opening win over Guthrie Friday night.

It was Cawvey early and often for the Wolves. He opened the scoring with a 55-yard touchdown grab and added three more TD receptions to outdistance the Bluejays. On the night he totaled eight catches for 185 yards and four touchdowns.

The Friday Night Vyve Player of the Week is presented to the player who most exemplifies competition, teamwork, leadership and sportsmanship for his high school team each Friday night.

For week one, that player is Shawnee’s Scout Cawvey.
